Thanks to everyone for the great response to ‘Deadweight Revival’. We’re all so very proud of it. Andrew & Jan will forever be in our debt for releasing it.

ATTACK! VIPERS! – DEADWEIGHT REVIVAL CD available to preorder!
2nd full length from Southsea’s Attack! Vipers!. 12 new tracks of crushingly brilliant punk rock, post rock & metal influenced hardcore. Pieced together over the past year or so under the ever patient eye of long time collaborator Rich Tamblyn at the old Blacksmiths in Portsmouth, with Pete Miles mixing and mastering the whole thing at the end of 2011.

CD comes packaged in a 6 panel card digifile with artwork from A!V! singer Joe Watson plus a little bit of handwriting from Var Thelin (No Idea Records’ founder).
It’s also available to order as a package with a new shirt and we’ll be making up some limited patches / badges for the first 50 people that order.

We can now reveal that our 2nd full length album ‘Deadweight Revival’ will be released at the end of February 2012 on CD & LP.
This will be our 8th release since our formation in 2006. When we started this band, we have primarily worked with friends on all of our recordings/releases and this is still the case. It was a logical move to continue working with Jan at Yo-Yo records (who will be releasing the 12″) and we are really excited to be teaming up with Andrew at Specialist Subject who will handle the CD release.
The 12 songs were recorded with Rich “The New Daddy” Tamblyn & Neil “Yes, I’m over 30″ Elliot at the Old Blacksmiths Studios between April 2010 and December of this year (2011). Additional vocals were recorded by Tim Greaves who is gaining a hefty reputation with his home recording skills. Peter Miles has mixed and mastered the whole affair at Middle Farm Studios and it is sounding amazing. Artwork has been undertaken by our very own Joe Watson and our good friend El Morgan has contributed some haunting vocals to the track ‘Out In The Dark’. Below is a video for our track ‘Widow Johnson’ that was put together by our pal Ryan Haysom.
3 Release shows have been planned for the weekend of the 20th-22nd of January. They will be in Southsea, Brighton & London. Staying South. Check the shows tab on the right.
We appreciate all the inquiries that have been made into this album and its completion. Thankfully we can now start work on the next recording. Expect it to be out in 2018 and recorded on something that will resemble a R2D2!!!

Good afternoon all!
We’re still finishing up our 2nd album. It’s been over 2 years in the making now but we are very happy with the songs and the recorded product so far. Just have to do some more vocals and then we can get it mastered and then hopefully pressed. We’re still working on that part though.
